This vagus nerve quilted wall hanging is based on a scientific illustration from 1543 by Vesalius. This version of the vagus nerve quilt starts with printing the illustration onto muslin. I then free motion quilt the design with thread and add background texture. I then augment the shading with fabric pen and fabric paint. I gave it an outline of yarn stitched in a rectangle and binding in a matching color.
It can be made in different sizes and colors. The one shown is blue and 10x18”. Please email or message for a quote if you would like a different size option.
Each quilt is lovingly designed and made by me from 100% cotton materials unless otherwise stated. They can be hung with a wooden dowel or decorative curtain rod. Care instructions: spot clean, hand wash, lay flat to dry and iron if necessary.
